Session 8 - Maintenance Documentation and Final Assessment

Documentation

Remember this?

This was the class before the break and we talked about what maintenance tasks should be carried out on our computer equipment and how often.

Assessment/Class Activity

Your last task for this subject is to design some forms that can be used to by staff who work at the Mysty River Secondary College resource centre. The school has the following IT resources for use by staff and students:

20 Desktop computers spread out around the library.
30 Notebook computers on a trolley - this can be borrowed and used within classrooms
10 Notebook computers that students can use in the quiet study are of the library
3 colour laser printer multifunction  - print, copy, scan and fax

Your Task is to create the following:
  • Daily checklist
  • Weekly Checklist
  • Monthly Checklist
These should be in a format that lists each task with an area that can be used to tick off and add any comments if required.
